Field of Membership for Ka`u FCU
Membership is available to persons who live, worship, or work in Ka`u. Also businesses and other legal entities located in the Districts of Ka`u and Puna Hawai‘i; Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families; and organizations of such persons can become members.
This is the formal description for the Field of Membership for the Ka`u Federal Credit Union. In summary, if you have a direct family or economic relationship in the district of Ka`u, you may be eligible for membership.
When you join, there is a $1.00 membership fee. This is a one time fee. This is negligible as compared to all the benefits of membership. Once a member, a wide variety of loan, deposit and other financial services are available to you.
