Deposit Accounts with Ka'u Federal Credit UnionKa’u Federal Credit Union offers its members basic deposit services of Regular Share Accounts (Savings) and Share Draft (Checking). Membership accounts are available to adults, students and businesses – including associations and nonprofit organizations. Regular Share (Savings) – The minimum
deposit to maintain a Regular Share Account is $25. The minimum balance to earn dividends on a Regular Share Account is $100. For students the minimum to earn dividends is $5. Dividends are declared quarterly and credited to the member’s account on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. Members with only a share account will receive their statement of account mailed quarterly.
There is a $3.00 monthly fee for individual Share Draft (checking) account however; the fee will be waived if one of the following exists: • Average Daily Balance of $300 or more is maintained for
the month Business Accounts – Ka’u Federal Credit Union offers its business members business Share Draft (checking) accounts. The month fee is $10 however; the fee will be waived if one of the following exists: • Minimum Average Daily Balance of $500 is maintained for
the month Business accounts can use their own check provider or order through Harland Clarke right here on online. Members with Share Draft (Checking) accounts will receive their
Statement of Account monthly. |

Students
have a minimum Regular Share Account balance of $5. A member may
have up to 3 share accounts under the same member number. These
are sub-accounts that make it easy for members to save for something
special like Christmas, vacations, or education. 
Share
Draft (Checking) Account – Any individual or
business member can have up to two Share Draft (checking) accounts
under the same number. Members can order and re-order their checks
right online. (Check charges will vary according to style and quantity
ordered).
